Hollywood, Ca. – July 12, 2006—MTI Film announces that High Technology Video (HTV) has purchased a second CONTROL Dailies system. HTV, one of the top companies in the business of high definition telecine mastering, obtained their first CONTROL Dailies over a year ago. The system proved itself to be a reliable asset by increasing HTV’s productivity levels and workflow. The installation of the second CONTROL Dailies will begin mid-July.
Through the success of their first purchase of CONTROL Dailies, HTV has seen an increase of commitments from some of Hollywood’s major studios. As a result, a second CONTROL Dailies system was needed to support the high demand of work. Jim Hardy, CEO of HTV explains, “MTI products have been very beneficial to our workflow. In addition to its dependability and productivity, we are buying the second CONTROL Dailies system t o meet the increased demand we've experienced for our post facilitation services".
CONTROL Dailies is an image and audio control environment that accelerates the delivery of motion picture dailies, facilitating faster than real-time image transfer and audio ingest, complete metadata collection, post synchronization in SD and HD resolutions, and output to various deliverables.
Soon to hit the market is the new 2K version of CONTROL Dailies which provides for generation and resizing of DPX 2K files to HD and SD and will feature CONTROL COLOR, a fully integrated primary color corrector with built-in Still Store co-developed with Silicon Color, creators of Final Touch.
