Las Vegas, NV- April 16, 2008 - LaserPacific, one of the largest providers of post production services in Hollywood, has purchased four Control Dailies systems with CONVEY and plans to use them to increase the speed, capacity and quality of its dailies processing operations for episodic television and feature films.
Control Dailies is a shared image and audio control environment that streamlines dailies processing for film and digital acquisition projects. The system will not only allow LaserPacific to speed up the processing of traditional film dailies, it will also provide it with the cutting edge tools necessary to process imagery acquired with the digital camera systems that are increasingly being used in Hollywood.
CONVEY, a companion application to Control Dailies, automates the production of file-based dailies deliverables. Installation of the new technology will begin in May with full operation slated for summer.
