Control Color is a primary color corrector that integrates with Control Dailies. Control Color provides for non-linear color correction of dailies, as well as an intuitive interface for applying 3DLUTs and ASC CDL color values. Color decisions are stored in the Control Dailies database and applied on output to tape or during the encoding to digital deliverables by Convey.
Control Color was previewed at NAB2008 and is scheduled for release at NAB2009.
As digital acquisition format increase in popularity, new solutions are needed to provide an efficient workflow for creating sound-synched, color-corrected dailies for viewing and editorial. With Control Color, facilities can provide the same level of service their clients are used to, regardless of the camera they choose for production.
Control Color includes an integrated still-store, a track-ball control panel, and the ability to import and export color decision lists (CDLs).
