Correct DRS™ V8 Workflows

CORRECT DRS™ v8 is designed to fit into a variety of workflows.

Digital Film Restoration

For archival film restoration, take advantage of Correct DRS™ v8's SAN integration and shared metadata solutions to create workgroups for projects that require several artists. Each workstation can access the same media and the same project files, so work can be distributed and re-assigned at any time according to the required toolsets and skill levels of the artists. Link directly to DPX files on the SAN. There is no need to copy, import or export media.

Digital Intermediates

Link to DPX sequences directly on a SAN and begin working as soon as the film is scanned. Use Correct DRS™ v8 to clean dust dirt and scratches on the files in place so that fixes are immediately available to your DI Color Grading suites and conforming applications.

Television or Video Remastering

Use the VTR I/O module to capture a full television show, or save on storage by batch capturing small clips from an imported QC list. Footage can be captured directly to DPX files or to MTI's ImageStore format, to prevent against fragmentation of storage. Use any combination of tools to correct common problems with film-originated material, from dirt and dust, to scratches, flicker and instability. Fixes are made directly to the media on disk in full resolution, so as soon as the work is done, it can be recorded back to tape frame-accurately.
