MTI Film to showcase new post production solutions at NAB 2007

CORRECT DRS™, the world's leading film restoration application, debuts Version 6 with improved Paint, Stabilization and Flicker tools. Award-winning* Control Dailies streamlines dailies facilitation from ingest thru output with new tools and applications including the introduction of CONVEY.

Hollywood, CA - March 16, 2007 - MTI Film will unveil three pioneering technological applications at the National Association of Broadcasters this year in Las Vegas, Nevada. The latest versions of MTI Film's innovative solutions will be showcased in demos at the MTI Film Booth #SL5410. They will include CONVEY for Control Dailies, Correct DRS™ Version 6, and Control Dailies Multi-Stream Option for digital acquisition.

CONVEY is a sister application to Control Dailies that provides file-based deliverables from media ingested by the Control Dailies system. As events are approved in Control Dailies, CONVEY is busy encoding data into multiple file formats thus eliminating various steps in the current workflow. For NAB, CONVEY will debut its first module, AUTO-DVD, which automates the creation of fully authored DVD images with visible watermarking for added security. MPEG 2 files for multiple recipients are simultaneously created with identifying text burned into the media. DVD menus are generated with user selectable sorts allowing material to be viewed in any order by Scene or Camera from one media file.

Future file-formats CONVEY will support include DNxHDTM, Windows Media 9, MXF, AVI and QuickTime.

In addition MTI will introduce its Control Dailies Multi-Stream Option for digital acquisition along with a suggested workflow for multi-VTR ingests "The Multi-Stream Option is the missing link that post facilities need to service content creators who utilize digital acquisition. Control Dailies gives them the ability to ingest video streams from multiple VTRs and log, sync and collect metadata using familiar film processes, but at speeds faster than real time. This allows them to keep up with the often excruciating time demands generated by Digital Productions", stated Linda White, Director of Sales and Marketing.

Whether working from film, 2K DPX files, or digitally acquired media, Control Dailies is an image and audio control environment that accelerates the delivery of motion picture dailies, facilitating faster than real-time image transfer and audio ingest, complete metadata collection, post synchronization in SD and HD resolutions, and output to multiple file formats and deliverables.
