MTI Film to Showcase CORRECT DRS™ V7 at IBC

Joint Demonstration with Bright Systems will Feature a Complete DI & Film Restoration Workflow

Amsterdam, NL - September 03, 2008 - At the International Broadcast Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam, MTI Film will conduct a joint demonstration with Bright Systems showcasing a complete, leading edge workflow for digital film and DI restoration. The demonstration will feature CORRECT V7, the just released version of MTI Film's award-winning digital film restoration and finishing solution now celebrating its 16th year, when linked to a Brightdrive, Bright Systems' powerful media recording system, providing real-time, shared access to digital media assets. Highlighted features will include CORRECT V7's unprecedented dust-busting capabilities for film and DI. It will mark the first time that CORRECT V7 will be demonstrated in Europe.

The joint demonstration will be held at the Bright Systems booth, in Hall 7, Stand 7.J39. "This demonstration will show why CORRECT DRS™ has become the de facto world standard for digital film restoration," said Chris Gregory, MTI Film Director of Sales and Marketing. "With V7, CORRECT DRS™ becomes even more powerful and efficient. Now, many routine restoration tasks that formerly required a compositing workstation can be handled quickly within CORRECT, resulting in a substantial cost savings to the facility. There is almost no restoration task that cannot be done by a trained operator within CORRECT and learning the application has never been easier." Bright Systems' Brightdrive makes an excellent complement to our new V7, added Gregory, noting that it makes it possible to provide multiple workstations with shared access to data files-a tremendous boon to productivity.

Other new features of CORRECT V7 include a streamlined user interface. It includes a unified tool panel with all of the software's plug-ins integrated into a single screen. Artists can quickly switch between tools for dust busting, paint, scratch removal and other common functions. Additionally, the new version will feature a revamped keyboard layout. Many new hotkeys have been added to speed routine tasks.

MTI Film is now offering CORRECT V7 customized packages, with specialized toolsets designed for specific applications and the skill level of individual users. Packages will be available specifically tailored to digital intermediate work and to television post production. Two packages will be available for film restoration operations, an "Artists" package offering basic tools for new and less experienced users focused on routine tasks, and an "Experts" package with a full set of tools for senior artists engaged in the most complex and creative restoration assignments.

Following IBC, MTI Film will make evaluation licenses of CORRECT V7 available to qualified buyers through its international network of resellers.
